Cr Jan Clifford - Local Government Director for Whitsunday

Jan was born in Melbourne and educated in Western Australia. Jan has held many positions in Management, sales and marketing throughout her working career and holds a diploma of Management.

She has lived in the Whitsunday region for almost 30 years and has been an elected member of the Whitsunday Regional Council since 2008. Cr Clifford serves on a wide range of boards and committees in various roles, but has a particular interest in affordable housing, long term economic security, workforce participation and safety of women living in rural and regional communities.
